Review If the song "End Of The World" is an anthem to the ultimate party of apocalyptic hedonism, the rest of the album is nothing like a big bang.
Apocalyptic Miley? If there's a pinnacle to be found in the flat land that is Miley Cyrus's ninth album, it's song number 3: the single "End Of The World ." This "end of the world" begins in the best way possible: with a chorus that's absolutely the least you can do to sing about Armageddon, before continuing with a verse that borrows from the basics of ABBA and, more specifically, the vocal melody of "Mama Mia." All of this is regenerated by a production featuring, among others, Jonathan Rado, a member of Foxygen, a sweet duo of compulsive pasticheurs, and electronic textures - the ABBA-style piano of Benny Andersson sounds like a French touch here (if I may put it that way, some two weeks before the written exam for the French baccalaureate).
